Renowned social commentator and spoken word artist Jello Biafra
was the lead singer/songwriter of the seminal punk band Dead
Kennedys. With the 1986 Frankenchrist trial, the first case
in history to try a recorded work for obscenity, Jello found
himself thrust in to the role of a spokesperson on censorship
and First Amendment rights. He believes strongly in civil
liberties, vigorously promoting individualism and freedom
of artistic expression in all mediums. He
has released over a dozen music albums and five spoken word
albums on the Alternative Tentacles label, which he has owned
and managed for twenty years. Jello's intriguing Spitfire
topic is the Nonviolent Extermination of the Rich.
